Egypt Native Brings All-America Credentials, Elite National Ranking, and Proven Big-Match Experience to Gainesville
GAINESVILLE, Fla. | Florida Women's Tennis continues to build one of the nation's most formidable rosters.
Fresh off a season that reestablished the Gators among college tennis' elite programs, Florida announced the addition of All-American transfer Jana Hossam, a move that further elevates a recruiting class already ranked eighth nationally entering the 2026-27 campaign.
The addition of Hossam, one of the nation's most accomplished collegiate players, gives head coach Per Nilsson another proven weapon as the Gators seek to challenge for SEC and NCAA championships.
A rising junior and former standout at USC, Hossam arrives in Gainesville with an impressive résumé that includes ITA All-America honors, a deep NCAA Tournament run, and extensive experience competing against the nation's top players.
