Wildcats junior posts top-20 showing at The Pelican Golf Club as Kentucky eyes NCAA regional selection
TAMPA, Fla. | In a tournament defined by elite competition and razor-thin margins, Cathryn Brown delivered a performance that turned heads across the Southeastern Conference.
The Kentucky Wildcats women's golf junior and Western Kentucky native carded a career-best finish, tying for 16th place at the SEC Women’s Golf Championship at The Pelican Golf Club. Brown closed with a composed 1-under final round, finishing the 54-hole event at even-par 210—a benchmark performance in one of college golf’s most competitive fields.
While Kentucky posted an 8-over final round to finish 25-over overall (14th place), Brown’s individual consistency stood out as a defining storyline for the Wildcats.
