San Diego State Swim & Dive Continues Academic Dominance with Nine CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

Aztecs lead new Pac-12 rivals in individual Scholar All-America selections while extending their remarkable streak to 21 consecutive semesters as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team.

Success for San Diego State's swim and dive program extends far beyond the pool.

The Aztecs reinforced their reputation as one of the nation's premier student-athlete programs after nine swimmers and divers earned 2025-26 CSCAA Scholar All-America honors, while the team also secured recognition as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for an impressive 21st consecutive semester.

The announcement from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) highlights a program that has consistently paired elite athletic performance with academic excellence, setting the benchmark as San Diego State prepares for its new era in the Pac-12 Conference.

At WWJ and later with Radio One Detroit, he earned a reputation as both a dynamic on-air personality and a high-performing Senior Account Executive, delivering strategic media solutions across radio, television, and digital platforms. His work combined consultative advertising strategy, strong community relationships, and a deep understanding of broadcast marketing. In 2008, Thomas expanded his leadership role at Clear Channel Radio (now iHeartMedia) in Beaumont, Texas, where he continued to drive revenue growth, client acquisition, and team mentorship while strengthening his broadcast presence.
