Auburn Gymnastics Spotlights Freshman Standout: Get to Know Rising Talent Adriana Consoli Ahead of the 2026 Season

Texas elite gymnast brings top national finishes, strong leadership qualities, and championship focus as Auburn builds momentum for a highly anticipated 2026 campaign.

AUBURN, Ala. | As excitement builds for the 2026 Auburn gymnastics season, another key newcomer is stepping into the spotlight: freshman Adriana Consoli, a Pearland, Texas native whose elite-level success and passion for the sport make her one of the Tigers’ most promising additions. With strong results at top national meets and a deep love for Auburn’s culture, Consoli arrives ready to make an immediate impact.

Consoli has already established herself as one of Texas’s strongest all-around gymnasts. She earned standout finishes at the 2022 American Classic, including second place on vault, and became a two-time U.S. Development Program National Championship qualifier. At the 2024 Texas State Meet, she placed in the Top 5 across all categories, including fourth in both the all-around and bars, and added multiple Top 10 finishes at the Region 3 Championships. Her rรฉsumรฉ also includes a first-place beam title at the 2023 WOGA Classic—one of the premier meets in the country.

Now, she brings her elite skillset and competitive drive to the Plains.

A Campus Visit That Felt Like Home

From the moment Consoli set foot on Auburn’s campus, the connection was instant.

“My first visit to Auburn was unreal. I immediately knew it was home,” she recalled. “I loved the team, coaches, and facility. That is what made me want to come here.”

The chills she felt that day extended from Auburn’s family atmosphere to the program’s culture of excellence—both key factors in her decision.

Adjusting to College Life: Football, Friendships, and Finding Her Place

Consoli’s first semester as a college student-athlete has been “great,” but full of meaningful adjustments.

“Meeting all these amazing people and going to the football games have been the biggest highlights,” she said. “Building a connection with the team has also meant a lot to me.”

Auburn’s traditions have quickly become part of her new routine, especially saying “War Eagle!” and rolling Toomer’s Corner after big wins.

Role Models, Motivation, and Family Values

Consoli draws inspiration from her biggest role model—her mother.

“She has supported me so much throughout my life and pushes me to be the best version of myself.”

On difficult days in the gym, Consoli looks inward as well:

“My goals and my younger self keep me motivated.”

Her favorite comfort meal? Her dad’s pasta and chicken cutlets, a taste of home that keeps her grounded.

Life Beyond Gymnastics

Outside the gym, Consoli enjoys shopping, spending time with friends, and unwinding from the demands of elite training. She’s majoring in journalism simply because she loves to write—another creative outlet for a student-athlete with diverse interests.

  • Her childhood dream job? A veterinarian.
  • Her biggest pet peeve? Being chalky after practice.
  • Her chosen superpower? Invisibility—“so I can disappear during awkward moments.”

Season Goals: Home-Match Hype and a Final Four Run

Consoli’s excitement is building as Auburn prepares for its first home meet of 2026.

“It is going to be so fun and hype,” she said.

Her primary goal for the season is both ambitious and team-focused:

“I want to help the team make it to the Final Four.”

With her competitiveness and poise—plus her proven ability to shine on vault, beam, and bars—Consoli is expected to play a meaningful role in Auburn’s push for national prominence.

Advice for Future Collegiate Gymnasts

Drawing from her own journey, Consoli encourages younger athletes to stay the course:

“Keep pushing and never give up, because it is all worth it in the end.”

Her words reflect both her resilience and the grit required to thrive in one of the NCAA’s toughest gymnastics conferences.
