LOS ANGELES | Oregon watched its starting quarterback leave the Coliseum in an ambulance.

Then the Ducks took out their frustration on USC.

Dylan Raiola came off the bench and threw for 289 yards and two touchdowns, guiding No. 20 Oregon past No. 12 Southern California 41-27 on Saturday night after quarterback Dante Moore was injured on a targeting hit that resulted in the ejection of USC linebacker Desman Stephens II.

The Ducks (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) responded to one of the game's most frightening moments by scoring a touchdown two plays later and eventually breaking open a 27-27 game with 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.

Dakorien Moore caught the go-ahead touchdown from Raiola with 8:35 remaining, and Jordon Davison added a 2-yard touchdown run with 2:03 left to finish off USC.

Oregon piled up 504 yards and won its fifth consecutive meeting with the Trojans.

But the victory was secondary for several frightening minutes in the second quarter.

DANTE MOORE INJURY CHANGES THE GAME

Oregon trailed 7-3 when Dante Moore scrambled into USC territory and began a slide.

Stephens made contact with Moore's head on the play. Officials called a penalty, and after video review Stephens was ejected for targeting. The game was delayed for roughly 15 minutes while medical personnel attended to Moore.

Moore was stabilized, placed on a stretcher and transported from the Coliseum by ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Reece Vander Zee made it count.

Vander Zee caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from Hank Brown on the final play Saturday, completing a 91-yard drive that lifted No. 17 Iowa to a stunning 20-19 victory over No. 18 Michigan before 111,126 fans at Michigan Stadium.

The Hawkeyes (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) took possession at their own 9-yard line with 1:46 remaining and no margin for error.

Brown methodically moved Iowa down the field before the Hawkeyes faced fourth down from the Michigan 16 with two seconds remaining. With the game hanging on one snap, Brown lofted a pass toward the corner of the end zone.

Vander Zee hauled it in.

Game over.

The touchdown capped an 11-play, 91-yard drive and gave Iowa its first road victory over a ranked opponent since 2015.

“Everybody's going to remember the end of this one, rightfully so,” Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said. “It really took the total effort.”

Brown completed 21 of 35 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns, both 16-yard strikes to Vander Zee in the fourth quarter.

Davidson rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries, including a game-breaking 75-yard score in the fourth quarter, as Clemson pulled away from California for a 24-10 victory Friday night at California Memorial Stadium.

The Tigers (3-1, 2-0 ACC) held the Golden Bears (2-2, 1-1) to just three offensive points and 10 points overall, with Cal's lone touchdown coming on a defensive fumble return.

Cornerback Elliot Washington II intercepted Jaron Keawe-Sagopolutele twice, while Wesco's 65-yard punt-return touchdown broke a 10-10 tie late in the third quarter.

Quarterback Tait Reynolds, making his first career road start for Clemson, completed 13 of 21 passes for 108 yards and added 28 rushing yards.

AUBURN, Ala. | Auburn did not need a dominant offensive performance to keep one of college football’s longest Homecoming traditions alive.

The Tigers needed one game-changing special teams play, two efficient touchdown drives and a defense that repeatedly stiffened when Vanderbilt threatened.

Auburn delivered all three Saturday, holding off Vanderbilt 21-15 before a sold-out crowd at Jordan-Hare Stadium for the Tigers’ 35th consecutive Homecoming victory.

A blocked punt by Omar Mabson II that Cade Carlson returned for a touchdown provided the game's biggest momentum swing, while quarterback Byrum Brown accounted for two touchdowns and helped Auburn close out the game with a critical third-down completion.

“For as not pretty as it was at times, for you to go finish, I’m really proud of it,” Auburn coach Alex Golesh said. “For you to go find a way to win, this is twice now this year where you found a way to go finish.”
